Orca3D Version 3 Work-in-Progress is now available. Version 3 introduces a completely new module focused on advanced stability analysis.
The new version includes:
- New Advanced Stability Module
- Define compartments and tanks.
- Set permeability, fluid types and loads.
- Create and run multiple load cases.
- Perform intact and damage stability analyses.
- Orca3D Marine CFD Wake Survey simulations, including harmonic analysis of the results.
- New resistance prediction method (van Oortmerssen) for small commercial vessels.
- Many additional improvements to Hull Design and Fairing, Hydrostatics and Stability, Speed/Power Prediction, Weight/Cost Tracking, and Computational Fluid
Dynamics (CFD).
