Our goal is to provide students and educators a powerful 3-D tool to explore, develop, and communicate ideas and designs. The software is only part of what makes Rhino that tool. To support your efforts we have assembled the following additional resources.

If you have questions or you need something that is not listed below please e-mail Jerry Hambly or call him at (206) 634-4570.

Teacher training workshops are now available. The workshops are free for educators.

Strategy
Our strategy is to:

Focus on education by surrounding Rhino with everything you need to enrich your learning environment.

Extend 2-D curriculum into 3-D by providing a product that is easy to learn and use, training materials, online and telephone support, training for teachers, conferences, and books.

Remove software training from design curriculum by making 3-D so easy that students and educators can concentrate on learning design, problem solving, and communications skills instead of software commands.

Complement your current CAD/CAM/CAE, multimedia, rapid prototyping, and 3-D digitizing products so that none are lost, replaced, or excluded. Rhino should only enhance every learning situation.

Bring the power of high-end NURBS modeling technology to students and educators by running on ordinary Windows 98/ME/NT/XP PCs and being affordable.

Support
We support Rhino directly. If you or your students have any problems with Rhino, please contact us for help. Please do not waste time supporting Rhino yourself. Visit the support web page for details.

Training Materials
You don't need to be a Rhino expert to make 3-D an important part of your curriculum. These materials are designed to get your students started with Rhino.

Order a free educational evaluation kit. This 60-page booklet includes a working demo CD. It is a great way to have your students quickly evaluate Rhino. You can also have your students download the evaluation.

Level I and II training guides. These two spiral-bound book are designed for either instructor-led or self-paced training. The training guides are included with the Rhino Lab Kit. They can also be purchased separately.

Tutorials and training materials are included on the Rhino CD and on the Rhino tutorials web site. The training web site also links to many other tutorials provided by users and educators around the world.

Curriculum guide, included with Rhino Lab Kit, outlines strategies for both instructor-led and self-paced training. The curriculum is designed to enhance existing design and drafting programs.

Teacher Training
These classes and workshops will help you become more comfortable with Rhino and provide the tools to include 3-D modeling in your curriculum:

One- two- and three-day regional teacher training workshops are scheduled worldwide.

If you would like to host teacher training at your school, please e-mail Jerry Hambly or call him at (206) 634-4570.

Commercial classes in Seattle are free for educators with the purchase of a lab license.

Licenses and Prices
The Rhino educational licenses are designed to be low cost and flexible. A copy of a current student ID, faculty ID, or institution purchase order must accompany the order.

The single-user educational license at $195 is for students, faculty, and schools. It is the complete commercial product and license with a special educational price. Students and educators are encouraged to use Rhino commercially. A single-user license includes a CD and a 500-page user's guide.

A lab kit at $975 for schools is a license to use Rhino on all the computers in a single classroom or lab. A lab kit includes: user's guide in PDF, Level 1 and Level 2 training guides, an instructor's guide, and a CD.

Schools can also use a lab license as a 25-user network license.
