You can license Rhino in three ways:
- Cloud Zoo: shared through your Rhino account, personally or with a team
- LAN Zoo: shared on your local area network
- Single computer: locked to one computer

Change Your Licensing Method
- Remove your license from its current location (see below).
- Add your license to its new location: a different computer, the LAN Zoo, or the Cloud Zoo. See Choosing the best license management method for help adding it.
Remove a Single-Computer License
- Connect your computer to the internet.
- Start Rhino, then open its settings:
- Windows: from the Tools menu, click Options.
- Mac: from the Rhino 8 or Rhino 7 menu (Rhinoceros in Rhino 6), click Settings.
- Click Licenses.
- Click Change your license key.
- Click Options.
- Click Remove license.
On Windows, uninstalling Rhino also returns a single-computer license validation.
Remove a License from the LAN Zoo
- Connect the LAN Zoo server to the internet.
- On the LAN Zoo server, open Zoo Administrator (requires administrator permissions).
- Select the license to remove.
- Click the X button in the toolbar.
The license can now be used somewhere else.
Remove a License from Your Rhino Account
- Go to the Rhino Accounts licenses page and log in if necessary.
- In the Personal licenses section, click your name.
- Click the license name.
- Click the edition type.
- Click Remove From Cloud Zoo.
The license can now be used somewhere else.
Remove a License from a Cloud Zoo Team
You must be the team owner or a team admin.
- Go to the Rhino Accounts licenses page and log in if necessary.
- Click the name of the team that has the license.
- Click the license name.
- Click the edition type.
- Click Remove From Cloud Zoo.
The license can now be used somewhere else.
