The default [.NET] pseudorandom generator and the only one available in Grasshopper 1. Although fast, reliable and commonly available, the System generator will produce obvious patterns in three or more sequences, whose seed values differ by basic ratios. The System generator belongs to the Linear Congruential algorithm family. This generator should be avoided, unless one specifically needs to replicate a pre-existing sequence.
