Gradient

In Grasshopper, a one-dimensional colour progression controlled by grips and an interpolation scheme. The grips specify the colours of the gradient at their positions and the interpolation determines how the colours are computed between the grips. Available interpolation schemes include—but are not limited to—linear, smooth and cubic.
Grasshopper comes with many standard gradients grouped into several categories. A sampling of these include:
