Try It

  1. Download Rhino 8 Evaluation for Windows or Mac.
  2. Download and open the FilletEdge_Setback.3dm model.
  3. Run the command FilletEdge and press Enter.
  4. In the Command prompt , select NextRadius.
  5. At the NextRadius prompt, type 4.
  6. Select Preview to set to Yes. You’ll notice a live preview of the fillets in the Viewport viewport.
  7. Window select the entire camera model. Notice that a triangular surface has been created for each corner.
  8. In the prompt , select the Setback option to set to Yes. Now, all the triangular surfaces have been replaced with 4-sided multiblend transitions.
  9. Press Enter to complete the command.
  10. Try it on your own! Experiment with your own models.
