Screen Gestures
iRhino 3D supports intuitive multi-touch screen gestures to navigate and interact with your 3D models. These gestures make it easy to explore models directly on your iPhone or iPad without the need for a keyboard or mouse.
Object selection
Select an object
Tap an object to select it. Tap an empty area to deselect it.
Window-select
Tap the window-selection button and then drag a rectangle left to right. Only enclosed objects are selected.
Crossing-select
Tap the window-selection button and then drag a rectangle right to left. Crossed or enclosed objects are selected.
View manipulation
Orbit (One-finger drag)
Move your finger across the screen to rotates the view around the model in any direction.
Pan (Two-finger drag)
Move two fingers together to shift the view up, down, left, or right.
Zoom (Spread or pinch)
Spread or pinch two fingers to zoom in on a spot or zoom out.
Zoom selected (Double tap when objects selected)
Select one or more objects and double tap a finger anywhere to zoom in on the object(s).
Zoom extends (Double tap when no object selected)
Deselect all objects and double tap a finger anywhere to reset the view to fit the entire model.
Undo and redo actions
Undo (Tap with two fingers)
Undo the last action, such as changes of layer properties.
Redo (Tap with three fingers)
Revert the last undone action.
