Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing

Create standards-compliant GD&T annotations for your engineering drawings. Rhino 9’s new GeometricTolerance annotation uses symbols in engineering drawings to communicate the acceptable variation in a part’s geometry for manufacturing.

Try It

  1. Download Rhino 8 Evaluation for Windows or Mac.
  2. Download and open the GeoTol-Try-it.3dm model.
  3. Make sure the End Osnap is enabled.
  4. Run the GeometricTolerance command.
  5. Fill out the form as suggested:

  6. Press OK.
  7. At the Geometric tolerance location prompt , snap to the End of the Leader arrow:
