Installing Rhino in Multiple Locations

The Rhino license agreement limits the number of Rhino sessions running at the same time to the number of licenses you own. It states:

“The License is installed on a computer or virtual machine you own, lease, rent, or license. The number of login sessions running the Software at the same time does not exceed the number of licenses you own.”

It also states:

“A single user can run multiple sessions of Rhino on the same computer or virtual machine with a single (1) User license. Each additional computer or user will require an additional User license.”

In practice:

• One license covers one user on one computer or virtual machine, including several Rhino sessions on that computer.
• Each additional computer or user needs an additional license.
• To manage several licenses across several computers and users, add your licenses to the Cloud Zoo or the LAN Zoo, as the license agreement recommends.
