(1) In mathematics, a quality of a function. A continuous function varies with no abrupt breaks or kinks.
(2) In geometry, the property of a specific location on a shape, which describes the rate of change across that point. Rhinoceros defines various types of continuity, e.g. position, tangency, and curvature.
