Document Properties: Notes
Allows text notes in the document properties that are saved in the current model.
On the Notes page, type the information you want to save with the model.
To print the notes with the model
In the Print Setup dialog box, on the Visibility pane, under Text, in the Notes box, select Top or Bottom for the notes location.

These notes can also be accessed through the Notes command.
Notes are saved with Rhino 3DM and IGES files.

Opens a window where text notes can be added to the model.
Steps:
In the Notes window, type information you want to save with the model.

You can dock the Notes window at the top or bottom of the Rhino window.
Notes typed in the Notes window also appear in the Document Properties dialog box Notes page.
Notes are saved with Rhino 3DM and IGES files.
Use Windows shortcut keys or right click context sensitive menu to cut, copy, and paste to and from the Notes dialog box.
If the Notes window is open when you save a model, it will be open next time the model is opened. This is useful if you want to make sure the person that opens the 3DM file sees the notes.
Notes can also be displayed in Windows Explorer. Right-click a 3DM file and select Properties.
