Washington ACTE's Summer Conference is
the must-attend event for Career and Technical Education (CTE)
professionals. Happening at The Davenport Grand Hotel in Spokane,
Washington, the Summer Conference offers comprehensive programming
covering high-quality CTE in secondary and postsecondary environments
and emerging trends in the field to help career and technical educators
thrive in their careers.
The Summer Conference provides attendees with many networking
opportunities, an Exhibitor Trade Show, hundreds of concurrent program
sessions, and numerous networking opportunities.
Registration includes WA-ACTE membership and approximately 28 clock
hours (pending approval). Clock hours may include STEM, Equity-CCDEI,
and Leadership specialty clock hours.

Learn how to add 3D modeling to your design and communication
curriculum without burdening your students with yet another complex
software product. You'll be able to focus on teaching design while your
students take advantage of the latest 3D modeling technology.
Your will be guided through hands-on exercises highlighting 3D modeling
concepts using Rhino. You will also learn how Rhino is used to render
models for visualization, export models to CAM products for
manufacturing or prototyping, and directly print to laser cutters, 3D
printers, and other output devices. Bring your jump drive.
Classroom activities, models, training materials, and files will be
available to use in your classroom.
