What did we change?
Not much. As near as we can tell, we have
generally complied with the GDPR rules for more than 20 years. However, we
did make a few minor changes:
-
We added a link to our
privacy policy
at the bottom of all our web pages and email newsletters. (Let us know if
we missed some.)
- We added details to our privacy policy to cover:
- our cloud services providers.
- our Discourse forum.
- We tried to make our privacy policy easier to
understand.
- Next to where we asked for an email address,
we added a reminder that you are subscribing to our
newsletters.
What do we know about you?
Not much... unless you are a customer or user.
If you aren't, the only identifying information we store is your email address, what you
downloaded and when, your country, and your browser language setting.
If you are or have been a user or customer, our focus is
on helping you. You may have shared details with us
depending on what help you needed. Over the last 40 years, you all have sent us millions of
emails, forum posts, chats, files, etc. We are not making any
promises
about what all that is, where it might be, or who we might have
shared it with. We have no plans to change our processes or
policies that will impact the help we provide to our users and
customers.

Since about the only way to get on this newsletter email list was
for you to type in your email address, we are reasonably sure
that you expected to get email from us. If not, please click
