- You can learn about the new Rhino 8 command,
ShrinkWrap, in a video. ShrinkWrap creates watertight meshes
from surfaces, solids, meshes, SubDs, or any combination,
open or closed.
- Simply Rhino UK created a ShrinkWrap Rhino 8 video, which includes the command basics and specifics from two real-life projects.
- Filou created a What is ShrinkWrap? video in German.
- Watch a video on iRhino 3D for your iPhone or iPad, completely new and based on Rhino 8.
- Follow the process of designing a ring in a Jewelry Un-tutorial in the unconventional Rhino Jewelry Stories.
- Simply Rhino UK explains SubD Crease in Rhino 8.
- Filou explains PushPull, another new feature in Rhino 8, in a German video. PushPull lets you extrude a polysurface face while interactively adding or removing volumes.
- Rhino in urban design:
- Rhino aided a recent digital recreation of an architectural landmark, Habitat 67. The Hillside Sample Project is a virtual walkthrough created by the creative agency Neoscape in collaboration with Safdie Architects.
- Rhino was also used in a newer urban renewal project by the Municipality of Haidari in Athens.
- Green Technologies in Landscape Architecture at the Technical University of Munich is using Rhino to forecast trees' girth growth.
- Recently published books:
- Accelerating Sustainability in Fashion, Clothing & Textiles explores the issues of sustainability in fashion, clothing, and textiles.
- World Expanded / NFTS and Renderings features Tobias Eder's digitally created sculptures.
- For intermediate Rhino users, Yacht 3D Modeling with Rhino - Level 2 is available as an on-demand video course.
