Triangular Distribution
trʌɪˈaŋɡjʊlə dɪstrɪˈbjuːʃ(ə)n
A type of continuous distribution with a finite range, where the probability of outcomes increases from zero at the start and end of the range, to maximum at the mode. Mostly used in cases of scarce data and unlikely to represent the results of natural processes.
