A type of discrete distribution designed to predict the number of wins in a series of games, where the odds of winning are affected by the outcomes of previous games. E.g. when taking eight Scrabble pieces out of a bag, the hypergeometric distribution can be used to calculate the odds of picking a given number of vowels.
