A file saving backup mechanism where a ghz file about to be overwritten by a newer version is timestamped and copied to a custom folder anywhere on the computer as specified by the user.

This mechanism may be preferable to Child Folder Backup if the files are subject to a version control system, as it makes it possible to back up files on the computer without them ending up in permanent version control.
