Colour Model
ˈkʌlə ˈmɒd(ə)l
A conceptual approach for representing colours, for example mixing pigments or mixing coloured lights. Colour models tend not to include detailed mathematics. Colour models are usually associated with several colour spaces, which provide specific implementations of them. E.g. the RGB model serves as a basis for the sRBG, AdobeRGB and ProPhotoRGB spaces.
