This parameter is used for storing decimal number values.

A number parameter with pre-populated values can be constructed directly from the instantiation window by either typing a number, or a range expression.

Grasshopper uses 64-bit floating point values to represent regular numbers. This number type has support for very small and very large numbers, although at any magnitude only about 15 to 16 decimal places are available.
