Why are we removing Rhino 2.0?

We stopped distributing Rhino 2.0 on 31-Dec-2002. Why?

The early Rhino versions used some technology licensed from a small Seattle company. That company was later purchased by a competitor who is not willing to extend the license beyond 31-Dec-2002.

Rhino 2.0 uses very little of that licensed technology, but in order to comply with the contract, we and our dealers stopped distributing Rhino 2.0 in any form on 31-Dec-2002.

This does not impact Rhino 2.0 users as long as they have archived the upgrade and service release files that they downloaded. They will need these files if they ever reinstall Rhino 2.0.
