L'ormai classico RhinoDay, l'incontro tra utilizzatori di Rhino in Italia, si sposta quest'anno dalla sua città di nascita, Bassano del Grappa, fino a Padova, dove si terrà nella sede dell'Università di Ingegneria.

Lo spirito della giornata sarà, come nelle edizioni precedenti, quello di fungere da punto di incontro e di condivisione di esperienze ed idee fra gli utenti di Rhino nei settori.

L'incontro sarà organizzato, come nelle altre occasioni, dall'Ing. Vittorio Carlotto e sponsorizzato dalle aziende Zen s.r.l. e Policase.

Gli utenti che vogliano presentare i propri lavori sono vivamente pregati di dare la loro adesione almeno 10 giorni prima dell'evento inviando una breve descrizione. La presentazione non dovrebbe superare i 15 minuti di durata.

Si auspica un'ampia partecipazione alla presentazione dei lavori realizzati con Rhino.
La buona riuscita dell'incontro e l'interesse di questo evento sarà frutto delle vostre presentazioni, a prescindere dalla loro natura. Vi incoraggiamo pertanto a presentare i vostri lavori per quanto semplici essi vi possano sembrare. L'importante è che possano fornire degli spunti interessanti.

formTOobject Generative Design Workshop

formTOobject is a four day workshop held in a studio setting. Its focus is generative design methods and fabrication of speculative objects and forms, and how those are used in product design, architecture, furniture, sculpture and interactive installations, among others.

Participants will develop designs based on established and invented/experimental rules and methods derived from fields ranging from computational mathematics and biology, to natural/unnatural phenomena. The aim of this workshop is to empower local designers and artists to create designs using powerful tools within the new exciting field of computational design.
