By using acupuncture, the ancient Chinese medical treatment, pain can be healed. This design is based on this concept, simulating the urban development and mobility by using parametric design method to find out the urban context of the open space after the railway become underground. Besides, the ancient name of Kaohsiung, “Takao”, which means thorny bamboo land, is meaningful historically and spiritually. Here, I studied the generating rules of the underground stems and the tectonics of thorny bamboo to support the design.
