Modeled in Rhino, Rendered in Brazil for Rhino
Joseph Artese Design created the interior design of Miss Lisa, a 92’ steel-hulled, three deck expedition motor yacht built by Citadel Yachts, Inc. in Tacoma WA. The yacht was a Finalist in the (ISS) International Superyacht Society 2010 Design and Leadership Awards. The owners, an East coast couple, will spend half their time aboard the vessel cruising from Maine to the Caribbean. Artese was hired to give his custom touch to this three deck yacht. The Artese team worked closely with the owners to integrate all the details, including the soft goods. They choose a relaxed but finely detailed traditional interior of anegre with recessed panel joinery, teak and holly soles and tongue and groove overheads. In keeping with a simple, traditional East Coast feeling, the fabrics throughout the yacht are clean, crisp white or navy with accents in navy or French blue. Polished nickel on lighting and accessories plays off the warm anegre, rich black granite and the Carrara marble in the owner’s bath suite. The Pilothouse has a wrap around command consul with state-of-the-art electronics, a traditional chart table and settee. The bridge deck also has a sky lounge with L-shaped couch, full service desk with file drawers, cubbies and book shelves, a 46” TV and of course, a 360 degree view. Entire interior was rendered in Rhino by Artese’s Sean Loarie and rendered in Rhino Brazil by Frank Woll.
