Your old Rhino license isn't dead yet, but...

All good things come to an end... maybe

June 2025

Our records show you may have a very old Rhino license, and...

...the good news is...

  • It is still upgradable at the same price.
  • There is no penalty for not having upgraded earlier.

...the bad news is, we would love to help but...

  • After 20 years there isn't much we can do.
  • Hardware, operating systems, and development tools have moved on.
    • We can't fix bugs.
    • We can't help you get your old Rhino running on your new hardware and operating system.
    • We can't provide security patches.
    • We can't provide technical support for old versions.
    • Our records might not be able to find you much longer. If you change your email address for any reason without notifying us, we'll never be able to find you.

  • There are no subscription, maintenance, or support fees.
  • Any older version* of Rhino can be upgraded for the same price.
*Evaluation and NFR versions are not upgradable.
  • You will need your old license key. Find it here.

Students and Faculty

  • Former student or faculty: Your old Rhino educational license may be upgradable. Just buy a commercial upgrade.

One more thing...

I'll send out this reminder a few more times this year. At the end of this year I'll remove [EMAIL] from our subscriber list. Thanks for being a part of the Rhino community for all these years. We would hate to see you go.

Sorry it is not all good news.

Best,

 - Bob McNeel
