Options: OpenGL

Sets display options for OpenGL accelerator graphics cards.

OpenGL Options

Use accelerated hardware modes

Uses hardware acceleration. Turn this option off if the OpenGL acceleration causes problems with Rhino.

Use hardware environment mapping

If your OpenGL card supports environment mapping, this setting lets the EMap and Zebra commands will run much faster. However, if your card does not support environment mapping, this option may cause these commands to fail.

Redraw scene when viewports are exposed

Ensures that viewports that are in a rendered state will refresh correctly when other windows are dragged over them.

Do not use OpenGL for drawing feedback items

Uses Windows display for drawing feedback (object selection highlight, for example).

Use region buffers when available (OpenGL Extension)

Helps optimize the saving and restoring of the back buffer. Some systems do not support region buffers well.
