Polygon

Creates a polygonal polyline with a specified number of sides.

Steps:

• Follow the prompts for the selected option. If no option is specified, the default option is used.

Options

Inscribed (Default)

Creates a polygon the corners of whose sides touch an imaginary circle of a specified radius.

1. Pick the center.

2. Pick a corner.

NumSides

Specifies the number of sides.

Circumscribed

Creates a polygon the midpoints of whose sides touch an imaginary circle of a specified radius.

1. Pick the center.

2. Pick the midpoint of the polygon edge.

Edge

Creates a polygon by drawing one edge.

1. Pick the start of the edge.

2. Pick the end of the edge.

Flip option

Flips the polygon about the edge you are drawing.

Star

Creates a star-shaped polygon.

1. Pick the center.

2. Pick the corner.

3. Pick the radius for the imaginary circle defining the second star radius.

Automatic option

Press Enter to create a regular star.

Vertical

Draws a polygon perpendicular to the construction plane.

1. Pick the center.

2. Pick a corner.

AroundCurve

Draws a polygon perpendicular to a curve.

1. Select the curve.

2. Pick the center on a curve.

3. Pick a corner.
