Boss

Creates extruded areas in a surface or polysurface based on a planar curve.

Steps:

  1. Select planar curves.

  2. Select a surface or polysurface boundary.

The curve(s) are extruded normal to the curve plane toward the boundary object. The boundary object is trimmed and joined with the extruded object.

Note: If a curve is inside a target (for example, circle inside a box), then a hole is created.

Options

Mode

Sets the style for the extrusion.

Straight

Extrudes the curves straight.

Tapered

Extrudes the curves  with a draft angle.

DraftAngle

Sets the angle of the taper.
